I purchased the Easy Jack 2 base and extension to replace an earlier version of this product. The original Easy Jack set was destroyed by a nearby lightning strike after working perfectly for almost 5 years.
Simple and quick to setup, I've had no trouble making 28K modem connections every day. This product works as claimed. If there's no way to run a telephone line, then this is the device to use.

I have purchased this product a month ago. The installation was a breeze. Just keep in mind not to plug it into the surge protector! If you have cable or sattellite receiver that needs a phone line connection (DISH actually charges $5/mo for each receiver in your house if you don't provide a phone connection) and you don't want to run a cable from your phone jack to the equipment then THIS IS YOUR SOLUTION!Customer Review: very pleased

Was pleased with the Easy Jack 2 and definitely served the purpose for my Tivo connection. Home remodel left this particular room without a telephone jack. Amazing gadget. It was very easy to place my order and I received it in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the performance of the Easy Jack. I have it plugged into my media room wall outlet and connected to the satelite receiver. It transmits to DISH network every day and saves me a $5/month fee ( if i were not connected to DISH via phone line) .I have no hard wired phone jack in this room and the easy jack is a great substitute phone connection. Works very well.

I purchased these units for my Dish Network satelite system. I have one DVR receiver upstairs and one downstairs. I simply followed the easy to read instructions that came with the Easy Jack set, plugged it in and it works perfectly. I also purchased an additional extension unit for the upstairs and it also works perfectly even with the base unit downstairs. I would recommend without hesitation.
