Great item with which I have no complaints. Only area of "concern" is that GPS suction cup mount broke loose any number of times initially, more likely a problem with suction cup than with mounting base. Don't know what I did different (other than a bit of saliva on bottom of suction cup), but has held well for last week or two. Can anyone suggest to me how one SHOULD re-vitalize the suction cup to maintain a good seal?Customer Review: Awesome, and the price is right

This thing is so much cooler than the windshield suction mount. It stays put (at least as well as the suction cup thing) is easy to remove and doesn't leave the nasty tell-tale ring on the windshield.
I bought one for myself and one for my Dad. He uses it with his old Streetpilot and reports that it stays put even with his bulky GPS. I use it with a svelte nuvi 760 and it works like a charm.

I purchased this dash mount for my Garmin Nuvi 760. Unfortunately, the sides of the mount are too high, so I am unable to adjust the GPS to a comfortable angle. In addition, while it would appear that the disk on the dash mount is large enough to move the GPS around, it's not the case. There is a "bump" in the middle, which seriously constrains the amount of flat space useable by the GPS suction cup.Customer Review: No Slide Dash Mount

It worked like they said it would. We took it on our vacation. Packed it in the suitcase, when we got our rental car we put the pad on the dashboard and it stayed put. It did better than I thought in some of the turns! I would recommend this to anyone who dose not want to use the windshield to hold the GPS. I ordered this dash mount with my Garmin 255W GPS highway navigator. The mount was delivered almost instantly. It's center mount area is perfect for the Garmin suction cup. The mount also holds better than the Garmin dash mounts. I have only had to set the "cup" once to the mount as it holds tightly. I highly recommend this mount for one that wants a dash mounted GPS like the Garmin units.
