When I used this, it held the suction mount for my GPS GREAT! But once I started traveling, this thing slid all over my dashboard. I had placed it on the dash just to the right of the steering wheel, but before I knew it, it was in front of my passenger. I had to constantly bring it back in front of me. I finally got the thing trapped against the windshield and the left upright column on the left side of the dash. Then the GPS was pushed off the mount. Thuis is nice and small, not bulky, fits perfectly and doesn't budge one bit. Really holds the unit down well. The only thing and its not this product, it's my TomTom has a short stem and I have to prop it down a bit in the back or it faces a little high as the wire and traffic monitering chord hangs a bit low on the GPS. But I have it down where it is great. This is much smaller and less clutter on my dash than other mounts and yet as strong as any unit out there. This is a nice sturdy design, but my TomTom 720 doesn't really fit, since the suction mount "arm" that came with my TomTom is too short. This results in it being impossible to angle the TomTom 'down' enough for a proper direct viewing angle. It would be nice if this came with some kind of "riser", since the middle circle area is recessed about .75" below the pads. 4 stars since there really isn't anything wrong with the Navgear, just my TomTom..Customer Review: Great design, price was right

We've had this dash mount for about a month and we love it. The triangular shape allows the pad to fit tightly into the curves and crevices of a dashboard and prevents all slippage. The openings between the weighted portions of the mount allow for better clearance for power cords and adjustments as opposed to the circular-shaped dash mounts.
We've used the mount in all of our cars and gotten excellent results from each. Eight thumbs up!
Customer Review: Suction Fails on TomTom

The bag is well made, sticks well to the dash. So one star may be unfair when used with other GPS units. But with my TomTom One XL the suction does not last more than 1 minute. If I remove the GPS unit and leave the movable arm in place, the suction lasts for days. It's just that the angle and the weight of the TomTom causes the suction cup to come un-stuck very quickly. I can't use this at all, totally useless, waste of money for me.
