Customer Review: Perfect dual charger for two i devices

I use this at work to charge my 2G iPod Touch and my iPhone 3GS. It does exactly what it's supposed to. The materials are kind of a lightweight plastic and semi-cheap feeling, but it certainly doesn't affect how the device works. The blue LED light only comes on when you have a device charging, which is great. You can also turn the LED off completely, which I guess is a nice energy feature (though LED usage is minimal). It's not intended to be a device that produces sound, so just be sure you want a CHARGER and not a SOUND DOCK with speakers.
I haven't worked much with the interchangeable cradles because I have a sleek/thin case on both my iPhone and my iPod. I found if I left the cradle off, I could charge both devices without removing either case - so thumbs up on that!
The only bummer is that you can't plug your headphones in to listen to your iPod if you have one with the headphone jack on the bottom of the device. But again, that's the iPod's problem and it happens with virtually any device like this. It would be great if they could include headphone jacks for each device on the front or side of the device.
Overall - 5 stars and I'm ordering two more for home today.

This "Twin Charger" is just what we were looking for since we have multiple iPods, including iTouch (3rd Gen) and Nano (4th Gen). The charger more than met my expectations, here are my observations:
Pros:
+ Includes a base adapter for the various iPod and iPhone models
+ Charges two iPods\iPhones at the same time
+ Easy to use
+ Looks nice
Cons:
- Only has one base adapter of each type, so if you have two of the same model you have to find an additional adapter but it is compatible with the standard base adapters that ship with the iPod.
Misc:
* The unit lights up when in use but the light can be turned off with the switch in the back
* The iPod can play when in the charger
I am really very pleased with how simple this charger is to use and that it can handle two iPods at the same time.

I haven't had this twin charger for very long, but so far I'm satisfied with it. Altho the unit doesn't link to your computer so that you can sync it, it does it's job as a basic charger with the convenience of doing 2 units at once. A great convenience. I also like the design of it especially the blue lights that come on when you place your iphone or ipod into the dock. There's even a switch to turn the lights off in case you don't want it on. My only negative comment is that when the docking brackets are used, it won't fit your iphone/ipod if they have a case on them..which both of mine do. I tried not using the brackets and both my iphone and ipod were able to mount and charge with the cases still on. My only question is whether not using the brackets will cause a problem in the long run....? Will it weaken or break the connectors? If someone has any advice on this, please post a comment here.Customer Review: Works great, cleans up clutter

I bought this item for the kitchen counter to charge two iPhones simultaneously. It has eliminated the loose cables lying around and the battle for the charger. It works great and (optionally) illuminates in a blue glow when iPhones are plugged in. The only small gripe I have is that this product was obviously produced for the UK market. So in addition to having an AC/DC adapter that would come with every such device, it also came with a plug converter as the adapter by itself would not fit your US socket. So this doubles the depth/height of the whole assembly. Also, as some reviewers have noted, the adapter plugs into the rear of the unit. It would have been better on one of the sides so it could be flush with the wall but that is minor.
In the end, however, it works and looks great and that's really what matters.

I give it 5 stars becuase it does everything it is suppose to do, which is charge 2 iphones/ipods at the same time. The blue led is bright at night but the unit has a switch to turn it off. The other review gave it a con by saying it cant sync to your computer but it was not design to do that and it never said anywhere that it does. You cant give something a con for being 30 dollars when a dual charger with usb sync would be about 100.
