This radio sounds great! It is easy to use, but there are a few things that could use some tweeking. #1 The display is too bright even on the lowest setting, #2 The volume and tuning dials are flat and very hard to turn (at least on my unit) #3 The volume to which you wake with the radio is too loud with no ability to make it lower than a 10 on the volume scale. I did have a problem with the "wake to" function. It would not change. It was sent back to the manufacturer. I am awaiting a repair or replacement. I really did like the unit. The above mentioned glitches I can live with for the sound quality and the price as long as the problem is fixed.Customer Review: Doesn't work with newest iPods

My wife and I bought this specifically for its integration with the iPod--a docking station for charging and the ability to have the included remote change volume and select tracks. Unfortunately, this model doesn't work with the newest iPod Shuffle or iPod Nano. We had to hook our Shuffle to it using the Auxilliary input, which means we lose all the benefits of having the 'designed for iPod' features this products claims.
The sound, however, is quite good for such a small unit, and assuming they make a proper adaptor for the newer iPods, this would be a very nice value.
At this point, for us, it's just a clock radio....

I researched quite a few speaker systems for my iPod. At first I was overwhelmed by the vast differences in features and prices. I ultimately decided on the iLuv and I'm glad I did. It comes at a great price for all the features it has. I like that it is a docking station and charges my iPod. It also came with a few adaptors so that any model of iPod will fit perfectly into the dock. The iLuv has a cool sleek look and great sound. I was planning to use the iLuv in my bedroom and purchase a larger speaker system for my living room, but after using the player I think I'll just get another iLuv for the living room too! I've only had this one day but, so far so good. It definately seems worth the money. Additionally, a friend of mine own's an i-home clock radio (which is similar) and I like this one better. It has two alarms (so you can set a buzzer or radio backup if you forget your ipod or just have two different times a day your alarm goes off!) which is a very nice feature. The remote doesn't seem to work fine enough. Also, it's nicer lookign than the i-home.
My only complaint, so far, is that the nano adaptor does not fit my nano. I do nto know if this is because I have a "new" nano, but it should fit or they shoudl offer one that does.

I've owned my ILuv for about 1 month now. I love it. It doesn't have that jarring loud wake up sound when you use your IPod for your alarm. I like how it gradually wakes you up. It's very easy to program. The sound is pretty good for it being an alarm clock! The only two negatives which are minor are... my 80 gig classic IPod barely fits into the largest adapter. Also, the round knobs are not so smooth when turning them to adjust the volume or select a station, however that's what the remote can be used for! I highly recommend this product for those looking for an Ipod alarm clock. Oh, it's also an attractive unit to look at as well!
