Great dual alarm and seemless connectivity to my 1G Nano. Love everything about the iHome but I gotta say the audio is kinda bad.
It's almost like they forgot about the sound quality when engineering the device until the last minute.
Would love to see the speakers re-done to allow better sound and maybe a CD player.
I use it primarily as an alarm so as that, it excels, but to have some killer sound quality would be a nice little perk.
Buy it for alarm, pass on it if you want something to crank tunes too.

I like this clock radio! And I like that iHome actually listened to consumers, and made changes, such as allowing you to dim the display (at its brightest its blinding!), adding the remote at no extra charge, and adding the radio station pre-set buttons.
All the control buttons are softly back-lit, which is a nice touch. The ipod fits in easily. Radio station reception is fair, but that may just be my location. (Your mileage may vary). Sound quality is good for a small clock-radio. And I love the way it looks!

It's about time that iHome came out with a dual alarm function. The setting of the clock and the alarms are generally intuitive although intitial set requires the manual. The bar that doubles as a snooze button and the LED works slightly different than previous models i.e. you hold down on the bar to change the LED intensity as opposed to clicking the button. The LED of the alarm is now in off in a smaller box on the right as opposed over writing the time. The small speakers put out a clear sound.

The features of this clock radio mostly speak for themselves and all perform well.
One feature that is not highlighted in the advertising but is very nice is that the alarm, radio, or iPod sound produced to awake you will gradually increase. It doesn't blast at you from silence to screaming but gradually ramps up over about 5 seconds. Much better way to be awakened, unless you really like / need to be startled.
Also, the sound quality is much better than most clock radios.

I got this dock as a hand-me-down from my sister, and I am glad that happened. The sound quality is great, the buttons are slightly sticky, but not so much so that I can't use it. I bought two Logitech X-140 PC speakers to help with the sound projection, and every night I fall asleep listening to it. Only bad thing is that my Ipod touch BARLEY stays on the dock, if you do much as take to heavy a step near it it will disconnect, I do not know why.
I would recommend this.
