This is a HDMI 1.3b cable... just like the other HDMI 1.3b cables you could spend $80 or more for - remember this is a 10ft not a 6 ft.
The video quality and sound is no different from the $80 cable I purchased in the past. Sometimes it isn't always true when they say you get what you pay for. This cable is just as good as the expensive ones. The difference is the price.

I have this wire between my PS3 and HDTV and is hasn't missed a beat. I have been using it for almost a year and the 1080p signal is still top notch. I see no difference between this cable and a 150 dollar one except the price tag.
