I live in an apartment complex that provides free wireless internet. The router for the service is located in another building across a parking lot, roughly 60 feet away. My two PCs have Netgear 108 Mbps wireless cards installed and were occasionally getting connection at a very low signal strength and frequently dropped it. Even when connected, the speed was lousy. Since I had two antennas to replace, this bundle looked ideal, especially for the price. The antennas have a standard screw on plug that fits securely onto the card's jack. The cords are long enough that I was able to place the antennas in discreet places closer to the external wall that faces where the complex's router is located. Both computers connect every time and stay connected now. Load times and download times have significantly improved, too. The signal strength still registers as being low but the boost to reliability and speed are all that I need to know this was worth the buy. Now, if only my Wii had a standard antenna jack...
