I have only written one other review ever, but I wanted to post this. I read all the reviews on the Axion and I felt like it was about 50~50 chance that it was good, but it was a good price. I felt like I had to buy a really expensive Dual DVD player before I got to more positive reviews. We used the DVD player on one trip up to Maryland and it worked great. Then on the ride home it stopped working right in the middle of a movie. I pulled over and tried to replug in the wires (in case something came loose), but not such luck. Thankfully, Amazon replaced it. (unfortunately with the same DVD player) Hopefully this one will have a longer life. I honestly think Amazon shouldn't offer this system to its customers.Customer Review: Took a risk and am happy..... so far anyway.

Like some others I read the reviews and figured I had about 50/50 chance of this DVD player working., but we really needed one with a long trip with 2 under 2years old. So I am happy so say that, so far, it worked great. The screens had good colors and sound was very adjustable. I liked having the DVD player part up front and the cords connecting everything were plenty long enough for the baby sitting backwards to have her own screen. It is great that the screens can be turned off separately, this did come in handy. we did not try connecting it to a TV yet and we have only used it about 3 times over the past week on our trip. But so far it was great. I hope it works next time we pull it out for a trip.Customer Review: Exactly what I was looking for

This DVD player is exactly what we needed. Two screens and the ability for my 5 year old to put the movie in herself while staying buckled in her seat. Someone from the front seat can also load a movie without having to crawl into the back, or lean over the seat while driving. This was the only player I could find like that. The DVD goes into a unit separate from the screens so it can set on the console, floor etc and reach to the front so someone from the front can control it. Everything works beautifully. We will only use it on long trips (3-4 times a year) so it's only been used once, then we took it out of the car and stored it for the next trip. I'm not anticipating any problems.Customer Review: DVD player not reliable

I would not recommend this package. Although the picture quality was very good and we like the features, our DVD player broke after 20 minutes of use. We brought 5 DVD with us on our first trip with it. 20 minutes into the trip the player froze up. It no longer recognized that DVD. 3 of other DVDs would not play at all. Only 1 DVD out of our 5 would work and you had to try several times to get that one to play. We had to buy an different player in the middle of our trip and that one worked fine. We returned the defective unit.
If the DVD player did not break, I would have highly recommended this player, but based on the short life span I would never buy another one.

I've never owned one of these before so I have nothing really to compare it to, but we just took it on a short family trip (2.5 hours one way) and we loved it! It's easy to set up and easy to use. The picture and sound quality are both good. I do wish it had batteries so you didn't have to start the movie over every time the car was turned off, although on long trips you don't turn if off all that often. We borrowed a portable DVD system (some walmart brand) from my sister before we bought this one and this one feels much sturdier and the sound and picture quality were much better. I also really liked the carrying case is came with. Over all a great product!
