Everything in this package serves it's purpose. I suggest this pak to anyone who already has a home stereo system. Instead of buying a separate boom box (like the $300 Bose system for Zune)take advantage of the speakers you already have. This is a stylish way to display and use your zune in your home. It's great for when guests are over your house. I also let it play on my home stereo (that's also linked to my dvd player and tv) turn down the volume on my tv and listen to music while I play a game on the PS2. The product itself is sturdy and stylish. The remote control is magnetic so you can toss it onto your fridge so it won't get lost.The audio/video cable is good quality. I bought a home surround sound stereo system w/built in DVD player Phillips $120. This home Pak for under $100. I have ordered two of these one for myself and one as a gift. When I received mine (back in september) the remote did not work out of the box. I contacted the seller right away and they shipped me a new one. The new one worked fine so I saw this as an isolated incident and all was fine. In late october I ordered another for a christmas gift for my daughter and I presented it on thanksgiving due to our visitation agreement. she has just tried it for the fist time out of the box and again the remote does not work (strike 2 against the product) this time the seller will not provide a replacement or return due to a 14 day return policy. this is not customer friendly for holliday shopping nor is it decent product support. So before you purchase, carefully review the return policy!!Customer Review: Works like it should

I am pleased with this product, it works great as how it should. Of course the video quality isnt the best, but what you'd expect. I love how it came with another usb cable and wall charger, now i live this doc at the entertainment center, and pop in the zune when i want to use it with my media, or when i just need to charge it. Very practical, and works just like using the zune.
...the only thing, i didnt quite understand the seperate volume and next/previous chapter buttons on the remote. the remote functions just like the pad on the zune, so already the up and down on the pad function as volume and the left and right function as the next/previous chapter buttons. So the extra buttons really didnt make sence to me, but thats a minor point.

At first I thought I didn't need it--that I could just plug the zune into my speaker system with $3 cords and that I didn't need the wall plug, etc. Boy was I wrong!
I finally decided I at least needed the wall plug so it could charge in the bedroom. I then used the dock in the bedroom too. WoW! Having the remote makes it so much easier to control from my bed! Not only that, but there's a magnet in the remote so I can attach the remote to my lamp!
The dock also looks a lot nicer with my bedroom speakers, and it's easier to find than just the cord when it falls under the table.
So it all is an item of conviencence, but with as much as we use our zune, it was worth it to us. I definately suggest it to anyone!

I found this accessory pack very helpful with my Zune. It is great for charging the Zune (from a computer or power outlet) and for connecting the Zune to TVs.
There are some negatives, however: First of all, it doesn't come with a carrying case, which is annoying considering the steep price and the number of components in the pack. Also, the remote control is VERY weak--I had trouble getting it to work from much more than five feet away (so don't plan on using the remote from across a room). Lastly, I think a mini-to-mini cord would've been very helpful. The connecting cord is great for hooking the Zune up to a TV using RCA jacks, but you cannot use this cord for hooking the Zune up to many speakers or audio systems.
