Bought 1, loved it, bought a second one... loved it more. You can daisy chain these babies together to make an rather large collection of "database" driven archives. You can mannualy retrieve them by number or installing software allows you to "search and retrieve" anything you put in.... assuming you take the time to index everything as you insert it into the carousel.Customer Review: Really cool, a bit bulky, needs the apple design touch

Great item for storing and retrieving discs. Paired with an HTPC, this thing rocks for having your collection in one, easily accessible place. The software design leaves a bit to be desired, and the case itself is clunky. But for those who would like to keep their huge collection of discs and have it be easily accessible, this item is great.Customer Review: Great Item, weak motor

I have five carousels and like this item. But, the drive motor is very weak and the carousle gear gets mis-aligned. Re-aligning the gear is not difficult, just inconvient. The seller is very helpful and was very quick to replace faulty items.
I would recommend this item, as one of the reveiwer wrote, "it is better than a shoebox."

I compared this with the Imation version. Pretty sure this is the better disc sorter. I needed the Mac filing software which is the biggest reason I went with this carousel.
It has worked well for 5 months although a little noisey...but bearable.
The biggest downside on this item is the price. $85 would have been about right.

Everything good about this product that's been said is true. I just want to add that their customer service is fantastic as well. Mine came with a faulty AC adapter at first, but when I called I was connected immediately to a service rep who ordered me a replacement. The whole ordeal took less than five minutes.
