OK, so I got one of these, and after I ordered it I started seeing all these mixed reviews on here, some people said the product was cheap and some said it didn't work well. Well, I was expecting the worse, and to my surprise, everything worked out great! I got it installed and it instantly connected to my computer. (I use Windows Vista on a Sony Vaio) Also, the software it comes with works well too, keep in mind, it is what you make it. You have to set-up all your keywords for your movies, but after doing that you are easily able to search for what you are looking for. I am actually going to buy another one. If you have a basic knowledge of computers you can install and upload your movies to this thing. It was a peace of cake and it works just great. Two thumbs up.Customer Review: Impressed

I'm very impressed with this machine, so much so that I decided to purchase another to stack on top.
I put an unused laptop atop the 1st machine to use as a get-it-quick database with Movie Collector. Search through the database, read the reviews and summary and press eject, voila. It saves a lot of time and space, not to mention that it impresses any who use it.
Drawbacks are that some of the parts are not as sturdy as I'd like. The arm that ejects the discs could break very easily, for instance.
I haven't had any issues with installation, parts breaking or malfunctions. It just simply worked. With proper care and reasonable handling I could see these sitting next to my TV for quite some time.

I have two of these and have owned them for almost two years. They have both operated flawlessly and have been extremely reliable. I use them in conjunction with software from [...] to store DVD movies. I will be buying a third one today, which is why I'm here writing a review.
Apparently, some people have received machines with jammed motors. I've read some web sites with instructions on how to free up the jammed motor, resolving the issue; it seems to be pretty easy. Just remove the cover and then gently but firmly move the carousel clockwise and the jam should clear. Sometimes you might need to help it along with a screwdriver or pliers, but once the jam is cleared, the carousel will work fine.

This Carousel is at least better than the Imation version which I couldn't even get to accept a disc. But still has some tweaking to be a 5 star. First off.. the software is minimal at best it's as friendly as excel (which IMHO isn't friendly). Second is.. my disc does not go in perfect every time, sometimes I to have to push it in a little better with my finger. Once I didn't, and told the software to change the disc accidentally, and the Carousel bent the disc to the point of when I took it out it broke. Despite all this I gave it a three because even after that major malfunction it still worked and really what else is there out there?Customer Review: A good product

I purchased several of these to tame my husband's DVD collection. We're mac users, so the software that comes with it doesn't work on our computers. Instead, I put together a spreadsheet of all of the DVDs and which carousel they're in and what number. They've been great. My husband likes to play "movie roulette" and just picks a number then we watch whatever comes out. They're great at reducing space that DVDs in their cases take up. We recycled all of the cases and now keep everything in these. My only complaint is that they area little noisy when rotating to get the DVD that you select. Overall, a good purchase.
