I'm planning on buying a new mac soon and need more room on my desk (which is tiny), so I'm moving my speakers to above my monitor and needed this shelf. It was pretty easy to assemble and needed no tools. The shelf itself is plastic and has two settings which aren't very far apart, depending on how much overhang you want. The legs are made of metal and are strong and sturdy. Providing what you put on the shelf isn't too heavy, it'll work out well. If you're looking for something special from the brand Ziotek, you won't find it here. The box looked like it came from the dollar store and had the name "Space King" emblazoned on it like it was the most disappointing action figure ever.
