Customer Review: Brite-view and excellent and affordable WHDI device
Summary: 5 Stars

I wouldn't bother any of you with some previously discussed features about this device. This thing works just fine and let me stress it properly: " It does work with some frame rates at 1080p full HD and most important with HD cinema full 1080p 24". It is just a matter of setup in your BD player or PS3.
You ought to set up your equipment (BD Player, HD media player, and/or receiver) so it outputs the video signal at a fixed rate of 24 fps 1080p that is it! and Briteview will transmit and receive this rate without a problem. For PS3 go to configuration menu and select this feature, same for Samsung BD player 1600 and above. I would like to add that current cinema movies are displayed at this rate so you can enjoy watching with your kids your Pixar's favorite movie or a good action thrill.
Tip: On my A/V receiver I couldn't change the rate for the video output, so I plug all the HDMI cables from my PS3 and my Samsung BD player directly to the Briteview to display the video signal, for the sound I did use an optical cable. This option applies only if you aren't able to change your A/V video display configuration.

Cheers,

Alirio

Customer Review: Easy, cost-effective HDMI transmission solution
Summary: 5 Stars

When I purchased an HD projector, my alternatives for providing a source feed were to a) run HDMI across a 25" living room (with the additional length required to run the cable up and down the walls, we'd be looking at a miniumum 35" cable length) or b) hook up a separate DVD player and/or Tivo directly to the projector - not an option if I decided to ceiling mount the projector. I was hesitant to run the cable thrugh the walls just yet, because there may be some room rearrangment in the near future ;)

I was delighted to find the Brite-View HD video transmitter. Based on the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. It only took 10 minutes to set up the transmitter and receiver and they work beautifully. The picture from my projector looks great - and now I have the flexibility to rearrange the room. And I'll be able to take the system with me if I move. Even better, the Brite-view cost less than I'd been quoted to run the cables through the walls and significantly less than the Belkin HDMI transmitter noted in another review which never materialized. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this. Well worth the $$$$.

Customer Review: Brite-View: clean wall look for HDTV
Summary: 4 Stars

The technician who brought and installed the satellite company's HD receiver was pretty sure this lightweight innocuous-looking kit wouldn't work. He's never heard of such a thing. You should have seen his face when the wall-mounted HDTV began to display images in the living room, thirty feet away from the HD receiver and the brite-view transmitter in our bedroom. "It's doing just what you said it would," he said. "I can't wait to tell the other guys about this!"
Right now we have the little brite-view receiver balanced on top of the TV, but I think we will try sticking it on the left side (where it would be even less noticeable in our case) with some double-stick foam tape. My wife loves the clean wall look with no wires or cables dangling.
There is a lag time between the remote and the response from the TV, but you get used to that.
We are having some difficulty trying to use our cell phones in the house since we got the kit. The reception was marginal before, and now it is pretty much non-existent. Not sure if this is due to interference from the brite-view transmitter or just coincidence, but thought I'd mention it.

Customer Review: Excellent Alternative to HDMI Cable
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently finished my basement and we ran a 40 ft Monster HDMI cable through the ceiling over to our media closet. While installing our plasma TV on the wall we inadvertently broke the head of the HDMI cable and unbeknown to me the installer had stapled the HDMI cable to the framing, which left the only way to fish another cord through was to cut holes in the ceiling. I decided to try the Brite View Wireless HD transmitter before going that route, and I have been completely amazed and impressed. It transmits 1080P signals to our Panasonic Plasma without any delay, which is due to the devices ability to send uncompressed 1080P signals. The receiver is very small and unobtrusive looking. I would recommend this device to anyone looking for an alternative to wired HDMI. My hat is also off to Monster who was willing to send me a brand new 40 ft HDMI cord without any hassle. Great device and works just as described. We have the transmitter in our media closet and with the door closed it works perfectly transmitting the signal to the receiver, which is about 20 ft away.

Customer Review: Brite-view wireless HDMI
Summary: 2 Stars

The brite view does transmit hd tv from 1 room to the other wirelessly,
but my room is only 16 feet away, it goes through 1 maybe 2 walls, a corner.
The problem that I have with the device is that the IR reciever/transmitter
does not operate my Scientic atlantic cable 8300 HD box remotely(provided by Time Warner).
When I contacted the company, they sent me new cables, but it didn't make any difference.
They don't have any infomation on what devices it will or will not operate.
So I had to buy another device that would operate my cable box. The brite-view does lose the signal some
times. But, all in all it does work OK. I dought that it would send a signal from
1 floor up to a bedroom on another floor, as I saw on an online video.
After having it for a few months, I don't think that I would buy it again, instead,
I would bite the bullet and just rent another HD cable box from my provider.
Especially if I were planning on using it alot. I hope this helps with your decision...
