I will agree with the other reviewers who have said there is no multi-coating on this lens (no green tint). I gave it 3 stars because I paid barely over 2 bucks for the filter, and pretty much knew there would be no coating on it thanks to the earlier reviewers. The glass & construction seems to be fine otherwise, so I will keep this to use as protection to keep dust, fingerprints, etc. off of the lens. I will also be using a lens hood, so if I am in a situation that flare will be a problem, I will probably take the filter off and go naked. Not the most elegant solution, but I only paid $140 for my refurbished Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens. Buying a $40 Hoya multicoated filter for a $140 lens seems a bit extreme.
