Customer Review: Not enough friction, bit flimsy, better than original
Summary: 3 Stars
Zeiko 72mm center-pinch lens cap is a bit better than perimeter-pinch original Minolta cap (of Minolta 80-200mm f/2.8 HS) because it is easier to remove|attach while hood is deployed. In comparison, Tamron 55mm cap (I know different diameter) provides more friction in the threads (on Minolta 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.7 with 55mm screw-on hood, Tamron 90mm f/2.8) & feels like it could take some abuse.
I will try the Tamron 72mm cap soon enough.
