Customer Review: Dryer is broken and Whirlpool refuses to replace it

We bought this dryer in July of 2008 and it broke in Feb if 2009. Whirlpool sent out a repair man and he replaced a fuse, 2 days later it broke again. Whirlpool sent out a different repair man, the repair man called Whirlpool and told them he really thought it was the control panel. Whirlpool said there was no way it was the control panel and told him it was a different part that was broke. The repair man ordered the part and came back a week later to change it out. As he was getting to the part he was replacing he had to pull out the control panel and he saw that it was fried. So now it's another 5 days before the new control panel comes in. I've called Whirlpool and asked them to replace my dryer because I'm afraid that we will now always have problems. Whirlpool replied that they DO NOT have a replacement policy. I've now gone 2 weeks without a dryer and I'm not a happy customer. Whirlpool has really dropped the ball on this one.
