It was easy install, but NOT plug and play and instructions are a little lacking. You must have blue(sata) power cable and TURN on the port you plug it into then the drive must be "intialized". Then your good to go.Customer Review: WORKS GREAT WITH HP MEDIA VAULT

received this hard drive from amazon, installed it in my pc with the included screws. plugged it in, turned it on, and all worked well. now i have plenty of storage for photos, videos, and other media.

The hard drive killed my Dell. Our IT guy figured out that the problem was from the hard drive. We'll need a new hard drive, and hopefully we will be able to revive the Dell, but it is not looking promising.Customer Review: Excellent hard drive

This is an excellent hard drive. I bought this hard-drive to replace an older 80GB hard drive. This is a very fast and silent drive, and it includes the SATA cable with Secure Connect, this is a great product.
