Dead silent. Have had it for a month so far, moderate use, still quiet and works perfectly. Tiny blue light on the front to indicate it is connected. Exactly like the WD passport drives, just looks different.
Rubber on the ends is removable if you so choose.
Included USB cable in 11 inches long.
It is much smaller than it looks, 5in x 3in x 1/2in. Dimensions on the description are of the box.
