This drive was so easy to install it was unbelievable. I only wish they would include the Serial Cable with the disk drive. I had to buy a cable for it online. If you are replacing a drive, it works great. If not, then you have to buy a cable. I found one online for about $6.00.

Never had problems with Amazon orders, but this drive arrived dead. I am tech savy and tried different cables, enclosures and took it to work for them (Sys Admins) to try out.
Sent it back and replacement was also dead. Tried all the above again. No luck. *sigh*

Can't beat a Western Digital product over the competition, at least in my opinion and experience with two other brands. For just over $100 I got a fast 1tb hard drive that installed in a snap. I plan to get many years use out of this one.
