Customer Review: No regrets.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to say, after doing considerable research on upgrading my 60GB PS3, I choose this hard drive above all. It's very easy to install, and was damn near the same exact price of the 250GB HDD (made by the same company, which is now $5 more than the 320gb at the moment for some odd reason) that I was contemplating putting in. So, yeah, you're getting 100 extra gigs at the cost of nothing. Awesome deal, can't believe how easy it was to take out the old hard drive and put this one in. There's also no need to do anything with the HDD if you plan on using it as a PS3 HDD substitute. It'll format it to what it needs and everything.

Fantastic product. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to upgrade their PS3's. You won't regret it.

Customer Review: Great PS3 Replacement Drive
Summary: 5 Stars

Works Great in the PS3.
Installation was Easy.

For those of you stuck at 30Gig on your Backup Drive due to Windows Fat32 Limitation. I used a Utility called Swiss Knife that you can find on CNet website or Download.com website. It allowed me to Format my Drive larger than 30 Gig so I could Backup my 60 Gig Drive.

Granted if you do not have an external USB Harddrive available you can backup your gamesaves to a USB thumb drive and then you have to re-download all your stuff from the PSN Store from the Downloads Link.
All of your Games have to re-update as well. Not too big of a hassle...

Now I have a TON of room left. I think I'll copy my whole CD Library to my nice big Hard Drive...

Customer Review: Graet HDD
Summary: 5 Stars

My MacBook went dead on me the other day, it just stopped working. Went to the service center at a Mac store and the diagnostic was HDD failure. No surprise here, I knew it would happen sooner or later, but then they told me the price for the new HDD at the Mac Shop, about US$140 for a 120GB HDD. Outrageous. So I got this HDD, almost 3 times the capacity at 1/3 the price!!! Installation is fairly easy, nevertheless, since I was already paying for the diagnostic, I got the guys at the Mac Shop to install it for me. Plugged the Time Machine external HDD and in about 1 hr had my MacBook the way it was just 1 hr before the crash. I'm a happy customer, my Mac works great with lots of additional space :)
Try that with Windows.

Customer Review: Fantastic hard drive, especially considering the price!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This hard drive was a purchase I made because I was in a hurry to repair my friend's notebook computer. I live overseas and I am very limited on buying products to mostly online. I must say that Amazon.com made my experience of purchasing this hard drive easy and quick. Not only did it arrive as promised (in only 3 days), but it was professionally packaged and secure from any rattling and such. In addition to the aforementioned, I had no problems installing it and loading the operating system. I rate this experience at its highest level (of 5 stars) and would recommend shopping at Amazon.com to anyone. Thank-you Amazon.com for being a great option and mine for now on!!!!

Sincerely,

Jeff

Customer Review: Compatibility issues
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this to upgrade my existing laptop, which had a much smaller drive. My laptop has a SATA interface and, after doing what I thought was enough research, bought this drive thinking it would just drop in.

Unfortunately, the physical connection on this drive is different from the drive I am replacing so I'm unable to use it, which is unfortunate because I opened it before figuring this out. It was my understanding that a SATA II drive would be backward compatible with a SATA interface, but I guess not.

My existing drive is a Toshiba MK2552GSX. Would be nice if someone had any advice because I'm coming up with nothing, and don't want to buy another drive only to have the same problem.
