the portability is great. y cable works fine no probs. the drive has been flawless. i know the issues with the power supply but its no problem to plug into two usb ports or a powered multi port usb hub.
the bad reviews i read here seem like people who dont know what theyre doing or talking about.

I've been using the drive for about a month to backup 4 pc's twice a week. No problems yet. Seems fast enough. However tried using it via the usb on the side of my monitor, but wasn't able to pull enough juice to fully power up the drive. Otherwise it works great for me. This is a great drive from a hardware sense. Small, very quiet, large capacity. Imagine my surprise, however, when I discovered it doesn't come with backup software from the manufacturer!! This is a gem. First it is small - flatter than a pack of cards and about as long. It's black (my favortie color) and a small blue light lets you know you're connected. Transfer rate is little slow , but its ok, 320 Gb of storage ! what else do you need ?
