Is it me or are the "reviews" for this product suspiciously fishy and lacking in content?
WD claims that it is the top US external hard drive provider yet there are only 10 reviews on Amazon? Other models and hard drives have a thousand or more. Some detailed and some technical and well written.
Just saying. Hard to make an intelligent decision when "boy this thing sure eases my mind..." is the meat of your review.
No offense to those trying to help but unfamiliar with technical details but it is strange that if you look elsewhere for reviews and comments about this exact product you can find a wide array of opinions.
I'd write a review for the WD Passport myself but after the other reviews I've read on it I am afraid to take it out of the box...
