The 4x6 wide format tablet is great when working with a wide-screen monitor, and has performed very well in making clipping paths and drawing in illustrator so much easier. Using it within the filesystem takes some getting used to, and there is a little bit of jitter in using the pen, but once you get a hang of it, you'll find it may actually increase your efficiency.
My only gripe is that I wish I would have gotten a wireless version, as it is the only input on my desk that is still tethered with a cord.

I have owned this a month and thus far I find that I am unable to make the transition to using this more fully. There are times when I find it more handy, in particular when freehanding shapes but the interface to change options requires me to change back to keyboard. It is also somewhat difficult to figure out the relationship between what I am looking at and where to place the pen.
My hope is most of these issues will diminish with practice. I do wish I had a larger one but the cost is prohibitive.

Obviously this is a must-have for any graphic artist who even thinks of using the computer as a tool. It took me a long time before I could use this well, though. I am an illustrator, so I should have bought the bigger one. If I knew then what I know now, I would have waited, saved money and got the bigger one. 4x6 makes for a small space to make nice smooth strokes on a larger moniter. Still, really nice buy. Best price around. I like the mouse too, nice addition.

I have tried using this many times and just can't fall in love with it. The pen starts to move the mouse before you even make contact with the tablet. This makes it hard to draw or pin point an exact place because the pen starts moving your cursor or crosshairs in Illustrator before you even make contact with the tablet. I find it hard to control and not very precise. I like it though and hope that I get better at using this product for as much as I paid for it.Customer Review: perfect size and useability

I think the tablet and pen are a perfect desk size, it's so much easier to be precise with a pen rather then a mouse. I think the mouse that comes with it is far better than previous versions but I still prefer the one button apple wireless mouse as far as usabilty goes.
