Customer Review: Awesome.
Summary: 5 Stars
First off, this is a really good tablet for someone who wants one that's functional, realiable, and doesn't cost a whole lot. I'd never used any tablet before this one, so I wasn't at all sure how responsive it would be, whether it lagged between strokes, etc. But it turned out to be really useful and easy to use.
And it's darn durable, too. For me, that's a pretty big deal, cuz I'm not exactly the most careful person in the world. Seriously, it fell half a story, landed on tile floor flat on the touchpad part, and functioned perfectly fine afterwards. [Results may vary.]
Oh, and the surface of this thing is pretty cool, too. It feels a little like pen on paper, which is neat cuz I was afraid it would be too textured [and make my drawings look wobbly], or not textured enough [and would feel like trying to draw on slick plastic]. But nope, it's a happy medium. I am happy about this medium.
The only thing that bothers me a little is that the eraser end sometimes messes up and lays down strokes instead of...Ya know...Erasing them. But considering that every drawing program I've ever seen has an eraser tool anyways, this isn't too much of a problem.
Anyways, yeah, I'm definitely happy that I bought this instead of trying to continue drawing with a mouse. Cuz when you've got a long, labor intensive, frame-by-frame animation to do, a mouse just isn't what you wanna be working with. [Well, not what I wanna be working with anyways.]
