Needed a cheap cordless phone for my magic jack that would not interfere with my wifi and cordless mouse which are 2.4 Ghz. This is the answer. Nice to find a decent cheap phone without multiple handsets or a built in answering machine. My only complaint: I cannot find any way to adjust brightness or contrast on the handset which bites because the display is extremely dim and low contrast and I can't read it without strong glasses AND strong light even though it is backlit. Other than that, it is a great phone with good call quality and the features that you expect in this price range.Customer Review: V-Tech CS5111

This is a very nice basic cordless phone.Doesn't have voice mail,but does have CID for missed calls.It has excellant range-I've taken it over 150 ft.from the base and made calls with little loss of quality.Has a find handset button if one misplaces it.
Being a recon,it didn't have a users guide,but I found and downloaded one from [...].
It is simple and easy to use and program(20 number directory with speed call).
Over all,I will recommend it to someone who wants just a basic,reliable,easy to use phone.

Works with MagicJack* [PC phone] [great clarity] which is what we bought it for - rec'd 2PM - all set up and into charger base for initial 16 hrs charge at 2:30.
Has charge enuff to make test calls to and from the cell - [Take Ur cell off vibrate or it will skip across the desk surface] - personalized all basic neat features and U gotta love the 'Find handset' function button on the base - checked this out first - to test for Ringer volume setting 3 rooms away with doors closed.

I was looking for a simple portable phone to put on the desk in my den, without all the bells and whistles...reasonably priced...in a slim line design, not wanting it to take up too much room. Haven't had it all that long, but it works just fine. No problems with it. I like the sleek look, better choice of color design. It sits in a silver base and is attractive as well as having good voice and range quality. The price was right. I would recommend this product, and I find I have good luck with Vtech products.Customer Review: Dead within two months

I've had this phone less than two months and it's completely dead. From the beginning it didn't hold a charge well; after a couple hours off the charging station, it would warn you the battery was low.
Before this, we had a set of three Panasonic cordless phones that lasted for four years and had better features and a more intuitive directory. The set was more expensive, of course, but didn't cost that much more per phone. I'm ordering another Panasonic!
