I was, like everyone else, looking for a headrest mount for my 6 year old's portable DVD player that was NOT a bag with assorted straps and hooks used to provide support for the player. Low and behold, this unit seemed perfect! A semi-permanent mount, and a rigid frame to hold the player securely. WooHoo! But then I read the reviews, and everyone agrees it works great.....but.....the plastic legs are flimsy and are prone to breaking off. But I figure, these other people are clods who can't control their kids. I will be careful and I won't have any problems. Once you mount it to the headrest posts, it stays there unless you care to mount and unmount each time you think your child might watch a movie. Because it stays there, it is in the way of your child entering and exiting the car 24/7. It is almost impossible to prevent a loose sleeve of a jacket or a swinging leg or arm from catching one of the incredibly flimsy supports and snapping them off! It helps to keep the passenger seat all the way forward, but this is not a solution and often not practical. If you order this, also order a roll of duct tape. You will no doubt need it.
