I have only had this blender now for a year and the polycarbonate carafe has been cracked for over half the time I owned it. Very disappointing. I bought this item from Williams Sonoma and they will take it back however, because they no longer sell this item in the store they are only willing to give me the last known price in the store which of course was on sale. It was a good blender however, my vitamix blows this blender away and cannot compete.

The Infinity Blender by VillaWare comes with an advanced speed-
setting dial provides adjustable blade control. The powerful
1000 watt motor generates up to 22000 RPM so you can crush large
quantities of frozen ingredients in minutes. The jar has a 67-oz.
capacity and there is varitable speed control and pulse function.
The blades are made of stainless steel the jar of high grade
polycarbonate and the base is die-cast aluminum. The Infinity
Blender comes with a 1 year limited warranty and the jar and the
lid are dishwasher safe.
