Verbatim makes great DVDs so the quality of your burn is always solid. The lightscribe is ok. The contrast could be better, but I have the feeling that it is what it is. I don't know if other companies make a better quality lightscribe DVD. It's still better than hand-writing the lables, that's for sure.Customer Review: LightScribe Technology is the BEST!!!

We got a new computer that uses the LightScribe technology to burn labels or pictures onto your cd's and dvd's! I used it to burn my husbands mom and dad's photo onto a dvd of old home photos! His parents both died 4 months apart when he was 10 years old back in 1964 so this to him was very special!!Customer Review: Best LighScribe DVD+R Ever

The quality of these DVDs are great and the LightScribe surface is also excellent.

Product came with in a week. A great product. We burned a 20 minute DVD and the quality was great. My friend had a lightscribe drive in her computer and I had her finish the DVD for me by burning the other side of the DVD to indicate what we had on it. I love my Lightscribe!! I am backing up the photos on my computer. So I just put a few of the photos that you can find on the DVD, right on the front of my DVD. So that tells me what I can find if I were to view that particular DVD. It's awesome!! The Lightscribe DVD's work great!!
