Customer Review: DVD-RW 2X doesn'r work

I have always used Verbatim DVD-R 4x or DVD-RW 2X discs and have recorded with no problems since 2006. I ordered these discs twice, thinking something was wrong with the other set, but of course both of them didn't work at all. Verbatim has changed the color on the labels and also did something with the dics. It seems all of the new discs don't work on my Sylvania DVD recorder.(Disc error: Unable to record on this disc) My recorder is in perfect condition and my old discs still work. What did they do? The same thing happened with Maxell discs.
I do not blame Amazon as this is the fault of the manufacturers. They should have said they were incompatible with older recorders and told us which ones.
