I have used verbatim for years, but recent purchases and attemps to record have produced DISK ERR, FAILURE TO RECORD, FAILS TO FINALIZE. This was true of Verbatim purchased from Sam's Club and this order from Amazon.
I have checked out my recorder and it records just fine on Memorex(which is not the brand I prefer).

A very good product. I've purchased and used perhaps 4 or 5 of these 50 packs over the last 2 or 3 years for either direct recording, dubbing from a hard drive or backing up old VHS tapes and they are so reliable that I can't recall any of them being bad. Well maybe one, but I can remember when!! I use a Panasonic DVD/HDD recorder.Customer Review: YIP

i usually brought 2- 25 pack of this product and is fine and after i decide to buy more disc and i change to buy 1- 50 pack of dvd-r is nice too and record as nice as original disc and never get wrong or flow the disc away should suggest to buy this again thanks.Customer Review: High quality, great shipping

That's just about it, the title says it all. The DVD-Rs are actual DVD-Rs. They worked splendidly in my DVD+/-R burner on my laptop. Not a big fan of the packaging, but that's hardly relevant.
Will probably buy from this seller again in the future.

For all of you Wii backup burners out their. This works perfect for your Wii backups. The quality is great. I love the scratch proof feature. Enough room to write down title. Disk never let me down. Make sure you burn with IMGBURN at Speed x2 for wii backups.
