I've been buying these for a while seems they are getting to be not very dependable.
Using with my stereo system cd burner i am getting about 30% bad disk rate.
While ripping an LP I get a check disk error and have to toss the cd and start all over ripping the LP. Lots of lost time in trying to rip over 1000 LPs.

Extremely good price for an extremely good product. Reliable CD-Rs for any purpose. These have never failed me.
For a while, I thought the brand was at fault because I could not get some of them to play in my car's CD player. However, all I had to do was lower the write speed to 8x and the problem was solved.

I was introduced to Verbatim cds about a month ago and boy am I satisfied!! All of my friends tell me how good the cds sound and I can't do anything but smile. The price has went up since my last purchase but I understand. Still a great price for good quality cds. All of my disc have copied successfully. I've been using Verbatim media for years. The CDRs have a strong rate of being read by many different kinds of players and burn usually without errors. I gave this product 4 stars as I burned a few MP3 CDs and while most turn out great, some have some tracks that aren't read great. The product arrived completely smashed apart. Amazon packed it in a ridiculous way that almost seemed designed to result in maximum smashing.
They did the same thing to a spindle of DVD-Rs that was purchased at the same time.
I strongly recommend not purchasing this product from Amazon.
