I have had very good success with the Verbatim CD-Rs.
Before using these, I had bought some of another well known brand. The others did not work well at all for me. I had a failure rate of over 50%. With the Verbatim brand, I have not had any that failed out of about 75 tried.
I would say that this particular media is a very good product based upon my experience.

I have burnt several discs from this stack and none of them work. They are all dead. The disc will burn successfully, but it will not read anywhere. K3B cannot even verify the burn.
Really disappointing. The $14.99 price tag is too good to be true. Have had really bad luck with these, returning and buying Memorex, which I've used successfully the last few years.

Memorex, Maxell, TDK, HP, and many other disks are behind verbatim in quality. These CD-Rs are very compatible with so many devices, they are not very sensitive to scratches, and rarely fail to burn. They can even be over burned 20-30MB without too much trouble. I have been using Verbatim for years, and these are the best in their great series of disksCustomer Review: Good price for the Quality

Verbatim in my experience has always been good in quality, i got some HP before and about every twenty disc i would get one that did not work. I have bought verbatim about five times now, never have i experience this problem so they make OK discs. It is not the best of the discs, but 100 discs for $13.99 good price for the quality iam getting.Customer Review: honest review

I have used these for video, audio, pictures, boot discs and miscellaneous data storage. I haven't had any problems using them so far. They are better quality than other discs of the same price that I have used.
