VariZoom's VZ-Pro-C for professional Canon broadcast video lenses give you the highest degree of zoom control for nearly every acquisition situation. This is achieved through the precision dual potentiometers and unique zoom handle grip. By combining a pressure sensitive thumb control with a separate but easily accessed speed control dial, VariZoom's VZ-Pro series provide exceptional control. Set the high speed limit with the dial, and ramp up to that setting with the separate, super smooth thumb control. This uniquely styled device relieves the operator of having to hold and maintain just the right amount of pressure since the maximum speed is set by the dial.What it's for...The VZ-Pro-C Series provides remote variable-speed zoom control for all Canon professional broadcast video lenses.How it works...VZ-Pro-C controllers feature dual speed controls system for achieving precise zooms at any speed. Rotate the dial (at your fingertip, just below the grip handle) to set the maximum desired speed, then use the feathered rocker to smoothly and consistently ramp up to that setting.Where it connects...Just plug the controller cable into the standard 8 jack on your lens motor drive. Use the controller hand-held, or clamp it to your tripod pan handle or jib arm. Extension cables are available for longer runs.Outfitted with a heavy-duty aluminum housing, dual variable-speed control, and affordable price tag, the Pro-C is VariZoom's most popular zoom control for Canon professional broadcast video lenses. The Pro-C clamps to any tripod handle, jib, or support bar, where it delivers the highest degree of zoom control for nearly every acquisition situation. Simply set the maximum desired speed on the dial (located in a "trigger" position), then use the pressure-sensitive rocker to vary the speed from a crawl all the way up to the preset max. As an alternative, you can depress the rocker fully and roll the dial with your index finger to ramp the speed upward. The result is a super- smooth zoom control that relieves pressure on the user, as you no longer have to hold and maintain just the right amount of pressure to keep the zoom at a reasonable speed. Instead, the maximum speed is set by the dial.
