I purchased one of these and I'd have to say Its a pretty good product. It was a bit faulty (cheaply manufactured), the plug in port for the usb was loose but I fixed it and.. damn. For the most part it lives up to what I thought I would get and even more. A few things though like the other reviews I've read say.. It has a 2.5mm headphone jack which you have to either buy an adapter for or simply find 2.5mm headphones online. The ones they come with suck so its a must cuz once I replaced them they elavated the sound quality big time. While playing the song and videos the folders aren't that user friendly making it hard to find songs unless you put them in folders and in this case the smaller folders always play first. Other than that.. I'm happy with my purchase. It plays videos, holds music, pics, has a fm radio, records and has an ebook (kinda hard to use). Just got this product.
The manual seems to be written by a foreigner with no good knowledge of English, or his own product.
Not helpful at all.
Easy to use, although my music displays the names in Chinese characters even and I have no idea how to make it display in English.
The software that comes with does not help at all.
This product comes without a web link, company name or any hint on where to look for help.
So it is functional, but not the best for anyone who does not know his way around it... or does not read chinese :)
==> I sent them an e-mail. The reply was super fast and they resolved the issue. I also had a deffective earphone. They are sending me one right away. SO the package might be lacking, but they do have good customer service. If I could, I would have upgraded it to 4 stars!!!

I recently purchased this mp3 player and although the reviews were mixed, mostly bad, i figured since im rather tech savvy and so is my boyfiend, that loading wouldnt be a problem. Well it was. BIG TIME. putting music on it was fine, but when it came to videos, they wouldnt work. the device comes with a disk so u can download a converter and that still wouldnt work, so after 2 hours of fiddling with it and trying every possible way, and the instruction booklet that came with it doesnt say not one damn thing about music or video transfer, it kept reffering to the converter which would say it had converted the videos but really hadnt. so if youre looking for an Ipod nano wannabe go right on ahead but i am severely pissed that i took a chance and got burned.Customer Review: V-POD REVIEW

I disagree with the only other review for the V-Pod. The Volume range is quiet to very loud and the controls are easy to use.The video screen is clear.The appearance is very nice and it has some pretty cool features like radio, video and mic.The weight is nice also.There are two features I don't like.One is that the headphones "in" jack is smaller than normal jacks preventing use of other headphones at least with out an adapter and the jack is on the side rather than the top or bottom which makes armband mounting ackward. Second, while in "music" mode, scanning through music files doesn't appear to be as user friendly as the IPOD but I have only owned the VPOD for one day and have more investigating to do. I purchased the 1gig. I was looking for an MP3 player in stores and for around $30 I could get a 256mb, but then I happened to find the VPod online. I looked at all the features and figured that even if nothing really worked very well except the music, I got a 1gig MP3 player for $20 more. But, I was amazed to find out that everything it says it does, IT DOES! Videos, pics, MP3/4, radio. I do think the controls feel a bit cheap but for the price and all the features it is well worth the money. The thing I was most amazed by was that the radio actually picks up stations really well even in doors. As stated in other reviews, the earbuds are not very good and they are big (at least in my ears), so get new ones. Overall, an excellent buy.
