I had been hired to film an entire highschool weekend graduation ceremonies, and put them on one disk. Obviously, this required dual layer. Burning dual layer disks is difficult to say the least, and I was wasting money on various other companies disks that kept failing to burn properly. Then a friend of mine told me Verbatim disks were the highest rated in reliability. So I bought them. And every single dual layer disk burned perfectly! These are all I'm going to buy now.Customer Review: Still my #1 choice

I've been using verbatims for almost a year now, and they have yet to dissappoint me. I've been considering using Memorex brand simply b/c it's cheaper, but you know what they say: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
I think out of the 6 or 7 20 disc spindles I have bought in the past, I've only gotten 6 or 7 coasters, and I found out shortly thereafter that it was due to my DVD burner.
These disks are top notch discs and worth every penny.

Their is no question that verbatim Disc are the BEST disc for any kind of recording but far superior for high end application like back up bluray movies and 360 games! Dont ever sell your equipment short and put in media that is bad for you laser and has a low reliability rate! I have burned about 4 or 500 of these exact 2.4x dual layer discs and only got 1 single coaster and they have ran like a dream in everything I play them on! I used the Memorex DVD+R DL DVDs before buying the Verbatim ones. Out of a Memorex 20-pack I didn't burn a single coaster using Nero. Out of the first 10 Verbatim discs, however, I've burned 3 coasters. One of the coasters was obvious, as you could see many imperfections in the disc right after I removed it from the cake box. The edges of all of the discs look ragged and cheap. I would not recommend this brand of dual layer DVDs and I won't buy them again.Customer Review: Best There is as of today

If you are making backups or copies and are looking for the most reliable "Blank: DVD to copy or record to this is it. There are slightly cheaper discs but you will make coasters out of enough of them that these will more than pay for themselves.
If you research these you will also fine that they are the most trusted Dual Layer discs on the market and that many many industry experts rely on these discs for archival and industry use.
