Customer Review: I laugh at the reinforced packaging!!!
Summary: 3 Stars

Don't get me wrong,so far this has been a good product, and i recieved it in a timely fashion, but if this is reinforced packaging,I would hate to see normal packaging.Just as I suspected, the case was totally broken and useless when I opened the box.I don't think it damaged but a few discs, but come on!Discs are of among the best quality, but the package is not shipping quality. These must be bought in person,or Amazon should box them up properly. So,good product,I would just like to receive it UNbroken.

Customer Review: Second Time Not A Charm
Summary: 1 Stars

My first 100 stack was flawless. So i ordered another 100 stack a few months later. My second stack started to have write errors about a 1/4 of the the way down, and hoping that it was only 1 disc I pulled another DVD towards the bottom of the stack with the same results. I have so far burned 5 duds in a row with DVDs from various levels of the spindel. I've sent Verbatim support an e-mail hopfully to get a replacement, if that doesn't work i guess ill see if Amazon will make it right.

Customer Review: Buying this = Throwing $$ away
Summary: 1 Stars

Verbatim DVD-Rs are the worst I've ever bought. They all seem to record but you can't finalize at least 1 in 3, meaning you lost forever what you tried to record. I've had a ZERO failure rate with name brand DVD-Rs. I gave up and threw away 75 of the 100 Verbatim DVD-Rs that came in the spindle, after seeing how frequently the ones I've used failed. Stick with name brands. I've never had problems with Office Max DVD-Rs, either. Trust me, don't throw away your money on Verbatim garbage.

Customer Review: Archival quality for a good price
Summary: 5 Stars

I want the DVDs I'm making to last to as close to forever as possible, so I did a lot of research before deciding what DVDs to buy. Verbatim came out as #1 for durability. I chose the DVD-R format for maximum compatibility with various devices. And I've only had a few errors after burning about 75 DVDs.

Amazon's sale price for these was great. If you're just looking for short-term backup media, I'm sure you can find cheaper, but these are a different class of DVDs.

Customer Review: Reinforced spindle is a joke
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought these DVDs on the high recommendations of the other reviews since I have had problems with others in the past. For the price, they work really well. However, I was very disappointed that when I opened the box, I found the spindle shattered as well as some of the DVDs scratched (and unusable) from the plastic shards inside. Maybe the spindle is stronger than some, but if you think that by buying these you will get it shipped to you in one piece, think again.
