There's not a lot I can say about blank media used for backup purposes. You pick what you need to back up, burn it to these DVDs, and you're backed up. I ordered mine direct from Amazon & it was here the next day even though I got 2-day delivery with Prime... absolutely no problems. However, the discs smell when you open them... a LOT. This is a chemical smell that dissipates over the course of an hour or so, but I'm kind of wondering if I'm going to turn into a Marvel mutant of some sort after I got such a good whiff of these things. Item is as described. I recorded a movie from my computer and played it in my older dvd player and there was no problems with playback at all. Just be sure to finalize your discs after recording and you won't have any problems. I would have given 5 stars but the shipping takes longer than it should, but it may have been because I had this and the CD-R discs that I ordered at the same time combined into 1 shipment/box. I had ordered items from other websites that arrived several days before this package, so if you need your items sooner than later then you should consider upgrading your shipment preferencesCustomer Review: Poor Quality

I suppose any dvd media may have compatibility issues with certain burners and/or players, but I can say that after taking advantage of the low price and rebate, I was left with 100 useless blank dvds. While no error is given during burn, they are slow, skipping, and/or unplayable in all 3 of my dvd players. Even my computer dvd drives fail to read 50% of them back, and even the drive that burned them reports read errors. I've not had any problems before or since with ridata or tdk disks. I think the Verbatim media falls into that category of "You get what you pay for." Beware of bargains.Customer Review: terrible packing

I am giving it 4 stars because the product itself is what I had hoped for. The problem was the packing for this item was ridiculous. When I received it the spindle was busted up and all there was for packing was a couple air bags one that had partially deflated and they both ended up on the same side. I had read that others had problems with packing on this product but figured they would have fixed it because of all the complaints. I am not sure if I would order this again from Amazon because they just refuse to pack these correctly to avoid damage. The foam peanuts would work much better,Customer Review: Average Discs, hit or miss coasters.

Average discs, good shipping, packing could be MUCH better(see other reviews), 100 disc spindle in over sized box with not enough packing so spindle knocked around in box and cracked cover. No discs damaged. I have verified using latest software and firmware but still have yet to find a superior quality disc with no coasters in the pack. This spindle was only a deal because of the price/disc ratio. I find several coasters in every brand of discs I get so I go for reviews and cost savings. This disc has overall good reviews, some good sales, and lower than average coaster ratio.
