I bought this phone after reading a lot of reviews from various sources. So far (after four weeks), I am quite pleased with my purchase. The clarity is fine, even when I'm near my computer equipment and microwave. And I've gone into the yard without any degradation in signal. The battery lasts all day, and I keep it off the cradle all day. And finally, yes, the Telezapper does work. I've noticed a decrease in the number of telemarketing calls in the month I've owned this phone. My two cents...Customer Review: This Is A Great Phone!!

This phone is great! Not only does it "zap" computer-generated telemarket calls, but it lets you know when you have messages on your voice mail with a flashing red light on the base. The display is bright and very easy to read and the directory and memory dial are easy to program. Only one complaint - you cannot hang the base on the wall, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Would I recommend this phone? Absolutely!Customer Review: zaps telemarketers & messages

I was very hopefull with this product purchase a week ago. I read the manual thoroughly, as most electronics require. I like the feature of "zapping" predictive dialers, but the fact is, when the tone comes across the phone line, my digital answering machine thinks someone is picking up the line and shuts off. That means, if someone were to call, it would ring 4 times and "zap", then cut off. How effective is this really?Customer Review: Same poor battery life; poor reception

I also found that the battery life of this phone makes it unusable. Even after
it has charged 24 hours, the battery life is less than 20 minutes. Also, the reception is poor compared to the much cheaper 900 MHz cordless I had before it. Although the porduct claims to have a choice of ring tones, they all sound basically the same.
This product is a waste of money.

Just wanted to let the others know that the replacement battery is not the cure. This phone dies in minutes after a full 24 hour charge. My wife uses it just as a means to get to one of our other two 900MHZ phones which are great! They are Panasonic and/or Sharp phones. Next phone sale we see, the VTech will be in the trash.
