I got this as an "open box" item. I did not know that I needed an RF module but that only cost an extra $100. I initially regretted not getting the new Logitech universal remote. However, after getting this programmed(by a pro), I am very happy with the purchase. Unless you get the remote with the PC programming package, you will need to get someone to program it for you; that can be expensive and take a while. It cost me $100 and 2 hours. It is very easy to use and fits comfortable in my hand. I would continue to purchase URC products.Customer Review: One frustration after another

Everything about this remote is painful. Support is poor, 4/5 of my devices where not found leaving me to track down the codes, software has well documented issues (do a goolge search for 'Unable to Obtain Model ID' - no resolution but to keep trying till it works. Really? that's the best we can do on this?). After 3 hours of building a profle I am stuck unable ot load it to the device... Near as I can tell this is a nice looking paperweight. Return Label requested this is shipping back today.Customer Review: Poor Contact

My 810 is about 2-3 years old. One on the contacts does not engage. I cannot be certain one can open the unit.
Can anyone direct me to a company where I can mail it and have it fixed?
I had a heck of a time trying to get someone from customer service as I was put into a loop which repeated the same mesage over and ever.
