Honestly, I have no idea how long it will last but I use it on electrical equipment that drains the average battery pretty fast. It's already been months now with this one and the battery indicator is still at full charge. It's definitely a big difference from the regular 9V. One Ultralife 9v has powered my portable headphone amp for almost 40 hours and it's still going strong! This is normally a 10-hour stint with a regular 9v alkaline battery. Not cheap, but I can imagine 5x normal alkaline life with these lithium powerhouses in low-drain electronics.

I was surprised to see the negative reviews here. I have been using Ultralife batteries for years in my smoke detectors, and I am only now starting to replace batteries I placed in the units in 2001. Max experienced life = < 2yrs; same as with a name brand alkaline battery

A long life battery to make changing the battery in my not easily accessible smoke/fire detector as infrequent as possible. Very satisfied with the "Ultralife 9v lithium battery" which lasted approximately 4 1/2 years. Excellent!
