My daughter and her family live quite in Dallas distance away from Raleigh, N. C, our home, so thinking of Christmas presents can be difficult. My-son-in law, Carlos Savetman, is a recording engineer and just finished having a fantastic studio built on their property. I thought that an organized tool kit might be something he could use....well, I hit a home run!!! He has a place to put everything and my daughter is delighted that he will no longer be using her tool kit, and forgetting to return the screw driver or whatever. He loves the number of screw drivers because it seems that a lot of different screws are used in recording equipment. When we flew home, two days after Christmas, he was still checking out HIS TOOL KIT. His five year old boy was quite interested, but the seven year old girl was not.Customer Review: Ultra tool kit

I guess for the price I can't complain too much. As soon as you see the tools you can tell they are thin and cheaply made. They certainly won't stand up to any sort of repeated punishment. But again for the price not a bad little starter kit. The flashlight was laughable, it was so shoddy it didn't work brand new right out of the box even with brand new batteries. I threw it out and got a mini-mag. From what I've heard the soldering iron doesn't last long either.
It does have it's pros too though. The exacto knife is a nice touch, great for cutting straps and opening boxes of parts you are about to install. When I first saw it I was like, "I'm never gonna use this..." ironically I've used it as much as any other tool in the kit if not more. haha.

great for the value, already fixed a cpu thats been sitting in our broken computer inventory for almost two years with alot of tools from this kit, although that said some tools are of sub par quality that probably will not handle the wear and tear of every day heavy use, but for the price it is great and i would recommend it, the screw driver is very loose tends to wiggle and fold and doesnt look very well made, and the flashlight is very poor quality, havent used the solder yet, but have heard some complaints in the reviews but solders are very cheap and can be easily replaced, other than its a good tool kit, it gets the job done. I am satisfied, i would recommend it to anyone. very fast shipping aswell.Customer Review: Excellent tools, especially for the price

The price is right with these tools. Also, they appear to be well-made and durable. I am not sure how use the electronic tester, but it is there for those who do know. Also, the orange clipping thing which is supposed to be able to help lift and replace certain types of computer components, well, I have tried to use it, and maybe I am less coordinated than others, but it does not work for me.
I love that it comes with a side cutter, ratchet with sockets, and solder iron with solder reel. I purchased these tools to help with my first custom made computer and many were used and appreciated.
I like these tools and they complement other household tools I have.

I bought this thinking that 130 tools for the price of a 55kit was a pretty risky deal, but i can now say im happy with my purchase. I took the needle nose pliers out today to cut some REALLY thick metal. I honestly thought they would deform but they help up well. Im and I.T. Major and i do some computer repair on the side so im very happy to finally have a proper computer tool kit. this will surely help with and upcoming water cooling build. The screwdrivers and bits are NOT magnetic so if that's something you're looking for you won't want this the kit is much smaller than you would think roughly the size of hardcover text book. For this price i would defiantly buy it again.
