Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Power Cord Splitter 1TO4 BlackCustomer Review: First one, and now four!?!! Summary: 5 Stars
I remember when I first bought the power strip liberator, which was basically a 6 inch extension cord designed to allow you to plug multiple large headed power devices into a power strip. Then they released a splitter model that liberated the power strip and doubled your outlets.
The latest incarnation is this, a power strip liberator with four outlets. I bought four of these to allow me to attach 16 devices to my Xantrex Powersource 400 (a UPS on steroids) and they work just fine. Most of my devices are very low drain. I wouldn't use something like this with four energy hungry devices, though.
Customer Review: This is a wonderful thing! Summary: 5 Stars
With a limit number of outlets under your desktop computer with all the gadgets we need plugs for, this is a great invention. Most of our gadgets are low voltage so I have no problem plugging them into a splitter like this.
These are especially helpful when you have a battery backup with limited outlets and voip telephone. One plug for the voip, one for the router, one for the wireless phone and one for the computer. Now when the juice goes out, you still have your phone for a while. As long as the juice comes back in an hour or so.
Customer Review: Excellent and Reliable! Summary: 5 Stars
I had purchased this item for 4 servers, being able to plug into a UPS. This item worked great and supplies a great amount of convenience. I like the design, being very compact this item saves space, which is good for our overstuffed cabinet. I recommend this item for anyone that requests functionality and space savings.
Customer Review: good stuff Summary: 5 Stars
Seems like a good quality product although I wish the single male end had slightly longer cabling so that my power bricks could lie on the floor next to my battery backup. I'm sure it would be fine with a normal power strip but I don't like my network to go down every time there's a minor power problem.
Customer Review: heavy duty Summary: 5 Stars
Seems like it could run power tools, much heavier construction than needed for wallwarts and it looks ugly with 4 of them hanging off it behind my laptop but it's doing the job well and none have slipped loose so five stars.
