I purchased this item looking for a simple device that would let me transfer files (mainly pics) from my phone to my computer and from computer to phone, and that's basically what I got with this nice little item. With the adapter and the supplied software, I'm able to look through the file directory in my phone. From there I can add, delete and move my files(pics, music, games, themes,etc...). Of course it takes a while to transfer music because the files are larger but that's a given. If I need to transfer large quantities of music files than it's much better to just hook the phone directly to the computer. The software works fine, but it can be a little confusing and it takes a while to install. If you don't want to use the supplied software, then there are bluetooth drivers/software out there that you can find for this device but they might not be as thorough. I personally like this adapter because it does exactly what I wanted it to do. After getting the software up and running I'm able to quickly plug in my usb adapter, turn the bluetooth on in my phone and then open the file directory and go from there. I'm sure there are better bluetooth adapters out there, but for the money you really can't beat this one. It's not perfect, which is why I gave it four stars, but it does what it's supposed to do.
