Customer Review: As good as the battery it replaces

During a recent vacation where we used this battery as a replacement for the original battery, it did GREAT. With what I know today, it seems to be just as good as the original. Better value though as it was less than half the cost of the one that says Canon on it. I can't give it 5 stars due to the brevity of my experience with this battery. I paid about $5 each for five of these. For less than the cost of one Canon battery, I now have three full sets to put in my battery grip. They perform just great. I never start a shoot without freshly charged batteries, and I can shoot all day without ever worrying about power. I have been using them for over a month now, and they are performing exactly as I wanted them to. I highly recommend these.Customer Review: Great price performance Ratio!

Cons: Slightly less operation time.
End Notes: Great backup battery for the price. Fits the stock charger and my 40d. I am happy with the purchase. We we will see how it holds up over time. I will update my review in a couple months.

I purchased this semi skeptical of how long it would last. Figuring the price was good to test it out. Thus far I have been pleasantly surprised. I have only charged it once (in about 2 or 3 weeks) and it still has full battery, I have taken several hundred pictures in that time. I have no complaints honestly. Like everyone else, I was tempted to get this cheap battery pack for my Canon. It seemed too good to be true at the price. However, after 3-4 full charges the battery literally died. It doesn't retain the charge anymore. I still have my 6 years old OEM battery pack which hold a charge for about 300 RAW photos.
If you don't want to buy batteries every month or two, get the OEM.
