I've bought this battery twice, once from a Merchant on Amazon, once from Amazon directly. Currently the product description is saying the battery has a 1200 mAh capacity. The first time I purchased it, the battery was stamped 1800mAh; the second time when I purchased it from Amazon directly it was stamped 1600mAh.Customer Review: Get what you pay for!

These batteries are a bargain but don't expect them to last as long as the one that came with your camera. I first noticed the battery completely discharged after sitting a week or two after I'd shot a few pictures. That never happened before. A full charge simply doesn't last as long. You'll want to carry a spare. If you've got the jack, go for the one from Canon. If you're not a pro, this battery will do you for awhile for less money.Customer Review: Seems to be as good as the Canon

My Canon original battery for my 20D was getting a little worn (a "full" charge wasn't lasting as long as it used to) so I got this to replace it.
The shipping took a half week longer than expected, but the battery works fine.

I purchased 2 of these batteries for our Canon Digital Rebel and received 2 batteries of a different brand/voltage/mah. I'm not interested in working to resolve the issue as the batteries do work, but I will not purchase from this vendor again.
