I bought a 100 pack of Ultralast 1.5V AA Alkaline batteries with a 'Good till 1/2015' written on the bottom of each. After repeated failures to find 4 good ones in the package to use in my camera flash, I measured the voltage of the remainder. Only 25% measured 1.5 volts (usually slightly under or over). The remainder (75% of the package) measured between 0.1 and 0.8 volts, with one battery measuring 0.00 volts. One battery had leaked and corroded three adjacent batteries in the package. These batteries are Chinese junk. Don't waste your money.Customer Review: Poor quality batteries

I bought the UltraLast Alkaline AA Batteries and I should have known that you get what you pay for.
I just used 2 "new" batteries in my camera and immediately got a low battery signal. Tried 2 more
"new" ones and got the same signal. I also noticed that when the batteries allow the electronic
device to start, they are depleted very quickly. Why Amazon allows the sale of this garbage on
it's web site is beyond me. Don't waste your money.

For the price, very good batteries. As a battery, average at best. I bought these knowing that they probably weren't top of the line, long lasting batteries. They aren't.
My kids are battery hogs. I refuse to let them use my rechargable batteries. The problem with these batteries, is that they seemed to last about half as long. But, if they are equivalent to 20 batteries, then the price is good.
For 10 bucks, I'd buy these again.

The first batch of these batteries I bought lasted a year. I generally use rechargeables at home, so I take these along for my camera when I travel. They last as long as the "bunny" batteries I used to get stuck buying in an airport or other expensive or inconvenient location. They are also tightly wrapped in packages of four (or at least were) which is convenient. I had NO duds in the last batch, even after a year. I hope this batch is as good.

These batteries are the best deal I found so far. I saw in some reviews that some of the batteries have low power, but so far I have not found any low powered ones. So far they work great. I highly recommend them. I purchased the 40 pack, but next time I'll probably get the 100 pack. I use them for my son's toys and other gadgets. However, for my tactical gear I use Sanyo Eneloops...Best there is.
