Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Turbo Charge TC² Portable Charger for iPod and iPhoneCustomer Review: Dissapointed Summary: 1 Stars
I bought the Turbo Charger to take on a long flight to back up my i-pod touch battery. The Turbo Charger did not work at all,I slowly watched as the battery drained while watching one movie. The Turbo Charger never even tried to charge my I-pod.Fancy lights, but in my opinion just an overpriced flashlight.
Customer Review: good but limited Summary: 3 Stars
This charger worked as advertised - but in a pocket or luggage the on button tends to turn to on. I also found when I put my iPhone3G into an OtterBox case that the plug into the phone was too big, so to use the Turbo Charge I have to take the iPhone out of its case. Any thin plugs available?
Customer Review: GREAT LITTLE DEVICE!!!! Summary: 4 Stars
Light and compact. Charges to 75-85% in about 10-15 mins. Has a nice built-in flashlight. An added bonus and useful in the evenings while, camping, hiking, cycling, etc. I've only used this device 6 times, so I'm not sure if this qualifies as a solid review. But so far it's been great!
Customer Review: Doesn't Work on iPhone 3G Summary: 2 Stars
While this seems like a good idea, it doesn't work on my iPhone 3G. The problem, I'm assuming, is that since the iPhone isn't usually powered off completely, the charge is not strong enough to overcome the power draw.
It's nice unit, but stay away if you have the 3G model.
Customer Review: Awesome for travel! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this when my family and I were traveling over seas to Europe. Everyone has ipods and iphones. I just put a bunch of double A batteries in my backpack. It worked great. Even when we sightseeing if we needed charge I pulled it out. Loved it and still using it.
