My unit never worked properly. If I jiggled the connector just right it would start charging the iPod for a few seconds, but then it would stop. I did try again with fresh batteries, and my iPod is new and fully functional so it wasn't an issue with the iPod. I guess I got the dud in the batch ...... obviously poor manufacturing.Customer Review: Just what I needed

This was just what I needed for longer flights where my IPod would die if I watched video. This time I loaded up an entire series of Stargate (I know - Geek!) and did not run out of battery.
The flashing blue lights are a little too bright and can be distracting but that's an observation rather than a complaint.

The Turbo Charger works great. I'm really happy with it.

This is so handy when travelling - love it. However I am not sure if it's my imagination, but I am sure the batteries ran out very quickly. I also forgot about it for a few hours and left it - and assume it just keeps draining the batteries - no way for it to automatically shut off. So far so good, except that the product description states that it comes with a carry case (deluxe even). I purchased two units and neither had a case in package. I was hoping to overcome the issues stated by many people regarding the accidental power on of the unit by using the case. Has anyone received a case?
