The item description says it's suitable for iPhone,i have tried with my iphone 4 and i found the following:
-The item is made out of cheap material in spite of the high price of it.
-The charger is not suitable for the iPhone 4, i used an Energizer Ultimate Lithium battery and it did not last for more than 15 minutes before it ran out, the iPhone was not charged and it caused my phone to act funny before it got rebooted.

Purchased for daughter to use on a trip. Long plane rides so I thought this would be great to keep her Ipod energized for entertainment. Worked for one hour and then did not work again. She stated the unit became really hot and then it started to smell like something was burning. This is the second item I purchased from Amazon and the first item did not work either. Thinking I might not use them again to make anymore purchases.Customer Review: I am Portable and can go ANYWHERE!

I recently took a trip around the world and did not want to depend on the electronic converters. I loaded up my iTouch with movies and music and purchased this charger - AA batteries can be purchased all around the world and I used this charger everywhere I went. Even on Easter Island I was able to watch Season I of LOST!
Highly recommended as it makes your music, video unit portable anywhere you go!
Customer Review: Weakness = switches too easily

I purchased this product a couple years ago, and having used it regularly for airline travel, I can say that the switch is an annoying weakness.
When carried in your pocket it can easily be switched on or into flashlight mode.
The flashlight feature should be eliminated. It just annoys other passengers.
I am seriously considering buying the Duracell version instead.

I wrote a review of the cell-phone turbo charger - I had issues, with the process, not the product. This item is great and it really does work. Recently I was on a long trip and used it to continue watching movies on my IPod Classic. The actual charger is the same for the cell phone and IPod. If you have one, you just need to order the adapter for the other. (IPod classic takes adapter TA202).
